Say: "God is sufficient as witness between me and you." He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. It is those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God who will perish. 52 Now they challenge thee to hasten the coming upon them of [God's] chastisement: and indeed, had not a term been set [for it by God,] that suffering would already have come upon them! But indeed, it will most certainly come upon them of a sudden, and they will be taken unawares. 53 They demand that you hasten on the punishment! Gehenna (Hell) will encompass the unbelievers. 54 [encompass them] on the Day when suffering will overwhelm them from above them and from beneath their feet, whereupon He shall say: "Taste [now the fruit of] your own doings!" 55 O My worshipers who believe, My earth is vast, therefore worship Me! 56 Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned. 57 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!- 58 who remained steadfast and put their trust in their Lord! 59 How many creatures cannot fend for themselves! God provides for them and for you. He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 60 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon? They would surely say: Allah. How then are they deviating? 61 God increases the sustenance of whichever of His servants He wants and He determines their share. God has the knowledge of all things. 62 And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, "God." Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand. 63
