Say: "God is sufficient as witness between me and you." He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. It is those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God who will perish. 52 And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not! 53 They demand that you hasten on the punishment! Gehenna (Hell) will encompass the unbelievers. 54 On the Day whereon the torment shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and He shall say: taste that which ye have been working! 55 O My servants who believe, surely My earth is wide; therefore Me do you serve! 56 Every soul shall taste death, and to Us you shall be returned. 57 And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers. 58 Who persevere, and put their trust in their Lord! 59 There are many living creatures which do not carry their sustenance, but God provides them and you with sustenance. He is All-hearing and All-knowing. 60 If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth, and who set the sun and the moon to work?" They will answer: "God." Why then do they vacillate? 61 God grants abundant sustenance, or gives it in scant measure, to whichever He wills of His creatures: for, behold, God has full knowledge of everything. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
