Say thou: Allah sufficeth for witness between me and you: He knoweth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And they who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those: they shall be the losers. 52 They demand that you hasten the punishment! But had it not been for the stated term, the punishment would come to them; it will come upon them suddenly when they are unaware. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the torment; and verily the Hell is about to encompass the infidels. 54 (They will become aware of it) the Day when the chastisement will overwhelm them from above and from under their feet, and He will say to them: “Taste now the consequence of the deeds that you used to commit.” 55 O My worshipers who believe, My earth is vast, therefore worship Me! 56 Every soul must taste death; then it is to Us that you will return. 57 We shall lodge forever those who believe and do good works in the mansions of Paradise beside which rivers flow. How excellent is the reward of those who labour, 58 Who persevere and in their Lord trust! 59 How many creatures cannot fend for themselves! God provides for them and for you. He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 60 If you were to ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth and Who has kept the sun and the moon in subjection?” they will certainly say: “Allah.” How come, then, they are being deluded from the Truth? 61 God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. 62 If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense. 63
