Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers." 52 They demand you to bring upon them torment immediately. Had not the time been fixed, the torment would certainly have approached them. It would have come to them suddenly and they would not have even realized how it came. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- 54 On the day when the chastisement shall cover them from above them, and from beneath their feet; and He shall say: Taste what you did. 55 O My servants who believe! surely My earth is vast, therefore Me alone should you serve. 56 Every soul must taste death; then it is to Us that you will return. 57 Those who believe and do good deeds We shall lodge them in the rooms of Paradise underneath which rivers flow, therein living for ever, an excellent wage for those who labor, 58 Those who patiently endured and who rely only upon their Lord. 59 How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. 60 If indeed thou ask them who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law), they will certainly reply, "Allah". How are they then deluded away (from the truth)? 61 Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
