Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
The present life is nothing but sport and amusement. The true life is in the Abode of the Hereafter; if only they knew. 64 And when they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him 65 showing ingratitude for what We have given them and take their enjoyment; soon they shall know! 66 Do they not see that We have given them a safe sanctuary, while all around them men are being despoiled? Do they then believe what is false, and deny the bounty of God? 67 And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 68 But as for those who strive hard in Our cause - We shall most certainly guide them onto paths that lead unto Us: for, behold, God is indeed with the doers of good. 69
