This present life is naught but a diversion and a sport; surely the Last Abode is Life, did they but know. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 So that they will deny what We have granted them, and they will enjoy themselves. But they are going to know. 66 Do they not see that We have made a sacred territory secure, while men are carried off by force from around them? Will they still believe in the falsehood and disbelieve in the favour of Allah? 67 Who does greater wrong than he who invents a lie about God or rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is Hell not the home for those who deny the truth. 68 And those who strove in Our way – We shall surely show them Our paths; and indeed Allah is with the virtuous. 69
