God begins the creation then causes it to turn back and to Him you will all return. 11 On the Day the Hour arrives, the guilty will be struck dumb with despair, 12 And the partners they ascribed will not be their intercessors – and they will deny their partners. 13 And at the time when the hour shall come, at that time they shall become separated one from the other. 14 as for those who believed, and did deeds of righteousness, they shall walk with joy in a green meadow, 15 but as for those who disbelieved, and cried lies to Our signs and the encounter of the Hereafter, they shall be arraigned into the chastisement. 16 Therefore, exalt Allah when you enter the evening and in the morning. 17 His is all praise in the heavens and in the earth; (and glorify Him) in the afternoon and when the sun begins to decline. 18 It is He Who brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead: and thus shall ye be brought out (from the dead). 19

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
