Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it, then to Him you shall be brought back. 11 And at the time when the hour shall come the guilty shall be in despair. 12 No intercessor will they have among their "Partners" and they will (themselves) reject their "Partners". 13 Upon the day when the Hour is come, that day they shall be divided; 14 As for those who believed and did good works, they will be made happy in a Garden. 15 And as to those who disbelieved and rejected Our communications and the meeting of the hereafter, these shall be brought over to the chastisement. 16 Therefore glory be to Allah when you enter upon the time of the evening and when you enter upon the time of the morning. 17 And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon. 18 He bringeth forth the living from the lifeless, and He bringeth forth the lifeless from the living, and He quickeneth the earth after the death thereof; and even so shall ye be brought forth. 19

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
