Among His Signs in this, that He created you from dust; and then,- behold, ye are men scattered (far and wide)! 20 And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. 21 And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and the variety of your tongues and hues. Surely in that are signs for all living beings. 22 And of His Signs is your sleeping at night and your seeking His Bounty during the day. Indeed there are Signs in this for those who hearken. 23 And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason. 24 And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand firm at His command. And when He calls you once out of the earth, you shall come forth. 25 To Him belongs every being that is in the heavens and on earth: all are devoutly obedient to Him. 26 And it is He Who initiates the creation, and will then create it again – and this, according to you, should be easier for Him! And for Him only is the Supreme Majesty in the heavens and the earth; and only He is the Almighty, the Wise. 27
