And one of His signs is that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals (who) scatter. 20 Another of His signs is that He created for you from among yourselves spouses, so that you might find repose in them, and He created between you affection and kindness. Truly there are signs in this for people who reflect. 21 And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colors; most surely there are signs in this for the learned. 22 And of His signs is that you sleep at night and day, and seek His bounty. Surely, there are signs in this for those who hear. 23 And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning, by way of fear and hope, and He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand. 24 And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you – from the earth – you will thereupon emerge. 25 To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; all obey His will. 26 It is He who first creates and then reverts it. This is how His law works inevitably. His semblance is of the most sublime in the heavens and the earth. He is all-mighty and all-wise. 27
