Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of the evil which men's hands have done: and so He will make them taste the fruit of some of their doings, so that they may turn back from evil. 41 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of those that were before; most of them were idolaters.' 42 So turn your face exclusively towards the True Faith before there comes the Day whose coming from Allah cannot be averted, the Day when people will split into groups. 43 So that he who disbelieves will bear the consequence of his unbelief; and he who does the right will straighten out the way for himself, 44 That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers. 45 And of His signs is that He looses the winds, bearing good tidings and that He may let you taste of His mercy, and that the ships may run at His commandment, and that you may seek His bounty; haply so you will be thankful. 46 Indeed, We sent before thee Messengers unto their people, and they brought them the clear signs; then We took vengeance upon those who sinned; and it was ever a duty incumbent upon Us, to help the believers. 47 Allah is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He will, lo! they rejoice! 48 Though they were before this, before it was sent down upon them, confounded in sure despair. 49 Look, therefore, at the signs of God's mercy; how He resurrects the earth after its death. Truly, the same God will resurrect the dead; for He has power over all things. 50 And if We send a wind [which would spoil the green growth (tilth) brought up by the previous rain], and they see (their tilth) turn yellow, behold, they then after their being glad, would become unthankful (to their Lord Allah as) disbelievers. 51 You cannot make the dead listen, nor the deaf hear. Thus, they, (the disbelievers), turn away on their heels. 52 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make none hear (your call) except those who believe in Our Signs and have surrendered themselves (to Him). 53
