۞ God is the One who has created you in a state of weakness; then He has granted you strength following [your] weakness; later on He has given you infirmity and grey hairs in place of strength. He creates whatever He wishes; He is the All Knowing and All Powerful. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 But those who were given the knowledge and belief will say: "You have tarried, according to the Book of God, as long as the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but 'you do not know." 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." 58 Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know. 59 Be patient. The promise of God is certainly true. Let not the faithless make you despair of the promise of God. 60
