۞ God is He that created you of weakness, then He appointed after weakness strength, then after strength He appointed weakness and grey hairs; He creates what He will, and He is the All-knowing, the All-powerful. 54 Upon the Day when the Hour has come, the harmdoers will swear that they had stayed no more than an hour. As such they are deceived. 55 And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not." 56 On that Day, excuses shall not benefit the harmdoers, nor shall they be asked to make amends. 57 And assuredly We have propounded for mankind, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude; and if thou bringest unto them a sign, those who disbelieve are sure to say: ye are but followers of falsehood. 58 This is how Allah sets seal upon the hearts of the ignorant. 59 Be patient. The promise of God is certainly true. Let not the faithless make you despair of the promise of God. 60
