Al-Room 6 of 6

۞ Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things). 54 Upon the day when the Hour is come, the sinners shall swear they have not tarried above an hour; so they were perverted. 55 But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know." 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 We have offered every kind of example here in this Qur'an to men. Even then if you bring a verse to them, those who disbelieve say: "You are nothing but a liar." 58 Thus does Allah set a seal on the hearts of those who do not know. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
