۞ It is God who created you of weakness, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength will give you weakness and grey hair. Surely He makes whatever He wills. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. 54 On the Day the Last Hour arrives, the evil-doers will swear they have not even tarried for an hour, they have always been deluded, 55 But those who have been given knowledge and faith shall say, 'You have tarried in God's Book till the Day of the Upraising, This is the Day of the Upraising, but you did not know.' 56 On that Day, excuses shall not benefit the harmdoers, nor shall they be asked to make amends. 57 And certainly We have set forth for men every kind of example in this Quran; and if you should bring them a communication, those who disbelieve would certainly say: You are naught but false claimants. 58 Thus does God seal the hearts of those who do not know. 59 So have patience. The promise of God is surely true; and let not those who do not believe make you relax (your endeavours). 60
