۞ IT IS GOD who creates you [all in a states of weakness, and then, after weakness, ordains strength [for you,] and then, after [a period of] strength, ordains [old-age] weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills; and He alone is all-knowing, infinite in His power. 54 On the Day the Last Hour arrives, the evil-doers will swear they have not even tarried for an hour, they have always been deluded, 55 But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within Allah's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but ye - ye were not aware!" 56 So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance). 57 Verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou camest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters! 58 In this wise Allah sealeth the hearts of those who believe not. 59 So have thou patience; verily the promise of Allah is true. And let not make thee impatient those who have no conviction. 60
