In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif Lam Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 a guidance and mercy for the doers of good, 3 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and accept faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who follow the guidance [that comes to them] from their Sustainer; and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state! 5 But among men there are some who spend their time in idle diversions only to lead people astray from the path of God, and without knowledge, hold it up to ridicule: for such there is a humiliating punishment in store. 6 Whenever Our messages are conveyed to such a person, he turns away in his arrogance, as though he had not heard them -- as though his ears were sealed: give him, then, the tidings of grievous suffering [in the life to come]. 7 Verily those who believe and work righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens of Delight. 8 wherein they will abide forever. That is God's true promise; He is the Mighty, the Wise One. 9 He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. 10 Such is Allah's creation. Show me, then, what any others, apart from Allah, have created. Nay, the fact is that the wrong-doers are in manifest error. 11
