In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the wise Scripture, 2 for a guidance and a mercy to the good-doers 3 Those who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate and of the Hereafter are convinced. 4 Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. 5 But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty. 6 When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty. 7 Verily, those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens of delight (Paradise). 8 They will abide in them for ever. The promise of God is true; and He is all-mighty and all-wise. 9 He created the heavens without any supports visible to you, and cast mountains as anchors into the earth so that it may not shake with you, and spread all kinds of beasts in it; and We sent down water from the sky so thereby grew all kinds of refined pairs in it. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
