In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the wise Scripture, 2 a guidance and a mercy to those who do good, 3 who establish Prayer and pay Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 4 These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper. 5 But among men are also those who spread frivolous stories to mislead (others) from the way of God, without any knowledge, and take it lightly. For such as these the nemesis will be shameful. 6 When Our verses are recited to such a person, he arrogantly turns away, as though he had not heard them, or as though there was a deafness in his ears. So announce to him the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 7 Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. 8 Therein they will be abiders: a true promise of Allah. And He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. 10 This is the creation of God. Show me what those whom you consider equal to God have created. In fact, the unjust ones are in plain error. 11
