In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 These are the verses of the Wise Book, 2 A guidance and mercy for the righteous 3 Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]. 4 They follow the guidance of their Lord and they will have everlasting happiness. 5 But among men there is many a one that prefers a mere play with words [to divine guidance,] so as to lead [those] without knowledge astray from the path of God, and to turn it to ridicule: for such there is shameful suffering in store. 6 And when Our communications are recited to him, he turns back proudly, as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were a heaviness, therefore announce to him a painful chastisement. 7 (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have gardens of bliss, 8 To dwell therein. The promise of Allah is true: and He is Exalted in Power, Wise. 9 He has created the heavens without pillar as you can see, fixed the mountains on earth so that it may not shake you away, and settled therein all types of living creatures. We have sent down water from the sky and made all kinds of plants grow in gracious pairs. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
