In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 These are the verses of the Wise Book, 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 who establish Prayer and pay Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who are on true guidance from their Lord, and it is they who shall prosper. 5 There are some people who would purchase distracting talk, to lead astray from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and take it in mockery; for those is a humiliating punishment. 6 When Our verses are recited before them they turn away haughtily as though they did not hear them, as if a deafness had come into their ears. So give them tidings of a shameful punishment. 7 Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. 8 Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 9 He has created the skies without any support that you could see, and has placed firm mountains upon the earth, lest it sway with you, and has caused all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon. And We sent down water from the skies, and thus We made every kind of excellent plant grow there: 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
