Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Alif Lam Mim 1 [This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Do they say, "He has invented it himself."? No indeed! It is the truth from your Lord to warn a people to whom, before you, no warner came, so that hopefully they may be rightly guided. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two, in six days, and then He established Himself on the Throne. You have no guardian or intercessor other than He. Will you, then, not take heed? 4 He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. 5 That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 6 Who made all things He created excellent; and first fashioned man from clay, 7 Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water (male and female sexual discharge). 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death appointed over you will take away your soul, then you will be sent back to your Lord." 11
