Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 Do they say that he, (Muhammad), has invented it? No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you will warn the people who have not received a warning before you. Perhaps they will seek guidance. 3 Allah it is Who created the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is betwixt the twain in six days, and then He established Himself on the throne. No patron have ye nor an intercessor besides Him. Will ye not then be admonished? 4 He directs all affairs from heaven to earth. Then all will again ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you measure. 5 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 6 Who hath made everything exceeding good which He hath created. And He originated the creation of man from clay. 7 He made His offspring come into existence from an extract of insignificant fluid, 8 Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 9 They say, 'What, when we have gone astray in the earth, shall we indeed be in a new creation?' Nay, but they disbelieve in the encounter with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "[One day,] the angel of death who has been given charge of you will gather you, and then unto your Sustainer you will be brought back." 11
