▼ 32 Prostration
Al-Sajdah 3 of 3
Assuredly We vouchsafed the Book unto Musa; so be thou not in doubt in thy receiving it. And We appointed it to be a guidance unto the Children of Is'rail. 23 We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 Have they not seen how We lead the water to the barren land and therewith bring forth crops whereof their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will they not then see? 27 They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?” 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Prostration (Al-Sajdah). Sent down in Mecca after The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon) before The Mountain (Al-Toor)
