We gave the Book to Moses - do not have any doubt about the Day of Judgment - and made it a guide for the children of Israel. 23 And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations, We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command. 24 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differ. 25 Is it not a guidance for them (to observe) how many generations We destroyed before them, amid whose dwelling places they do walk? Lo! therein verily are portents! Will they not then heed? 26 Have they not seen how We drive water (rain clouds) to the dry land without any vegetation, and therewith bring forth crops providing food for their cattle and themselves? Will they not then see? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Proclaim, “On the Day of Decision*, the disbelievers will not benefit from their accepting faith, nor will they get respite.” (* Of death or of resurrection) 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
