And certainly We gave the Book to Musa, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel. 23 and when they remained steadfast and firmly believed in Our Signs, We created among them leaders who guided people by Our command. 24 Surely your Lord will decide between them about what they were at variance, on the Day of Resurrection. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Say (unto them): On the day of the victory the faith of those who disbelieve (and who then will believe) will not avail them, neither will they be reprieved. 29 Therefore turn away from them, and wait, they are waiting. 30
