Verily We gave Moses the Book; so be not in doubt about his having received it; and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel. 23 And We made of them Imams to guide by Our command when they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications. 24 Indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters in which they used to differ. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Observe they not that We drive water unto a land bare, and bring forth therewith crops whereof their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not therefore be enlightened? 27 They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?" 28 Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. 29 Turn away from them and wait. They are, also, waiting. 30
