Verily We gave Moses the Book; so be not in doubt about his having received it; and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel. 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 Do they not see that We drive the rain towards a land that is dry, then grow grain from it which their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not see even then? 27 And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful? 28 Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. 29 So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting. 30
