O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 Accursed, wherever they are found, they will be seized and killed. 61 That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah. 62 People ask you about the Hour (of the great change). Say: "Only God has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may be close at hand." 63 Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way. 67 Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse." 68
