O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 cursed wherever they are found, they will be seized and put to death. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 Verily God has cursed the infidels, and prepared a blazing fire for them. 64 Living there for ever, they shall neither find a guardian nor a helper. 65 On the Day when their faces shall be tossed about in the fire, they will exclaim, "Oh, would that we had paid heed unto God, and paid heed unto the Apostle!" 66 They shall say, "Our Lord, we paid heed to our leaders and our elders, but they led us away from the right path. 67 "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" 68
