O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters, and the women of the faithful, to draw their wraps a little over them. They will thus be recognised and no harm will come to them. God is forgiving and kind. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 bereft of God's grace, they shall be seized wherever they may be found, and slain one and all. 61 Such has been God's way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God's way! 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire, 64 Abiders therein they shall be forever, and they shall find neither a protecting friend nor a helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a great curse. 68
