O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). 61 That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah. 62 (Muhammad), people ask you about the Day of Judgment. Say, "Only God has knowledge about it. Perhaps the Hour of Doom will soon come to pass." 63 Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 Our Lord, let their punishment be doubled; and curse them with a mighty curse' 68
