1/2 Hizb 43
< random >
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 This has been Allah's Way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's Way. 62 People ask you concerning the Hour (of Resurrection). Say: “Allah alone has knowledge of it. What do you know? Perhaps the Hour is nigh.” 63 God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a Blaze, 64 Living there for ever, they shall neither find a guardian nor a helper. 65 The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger." 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
