O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. 60 Accursed; wherever found they shall be laid hold of and slain with a relentless slaughter. 61 (Such has been) the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah. 62 People will ask you about the Hour. Say, "God alone has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may well be near at hand." 63 Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,- 64 Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 They will say: "O our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and the elders, but they only led us astray. 67 O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse. 68
