Sheba (Saba)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All praise unto Allah whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and His is the praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Aware. 1 He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, and whatever descends from heaven and whatever ascends into it. He is the Merciful, the Forgiving. 2 The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous: 3 That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision. 4 As for those who try to subvert Our signs, there is a punishment of painful torment. 5 Those who have been given knowledge will see that whatever has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides to the straight path of the Majestic and Praiseworthy One. 6 Those who disbelieve say: Shall we show you a man who will tell you (that) when ye have become dispersed in dust with most complete dispersal still, even then, ye will be created anew? 7 Does he [knowingly] attribute his own lying inventions to God - or is he a madman?" Nay, [there is no madness in this Prophet] but they who will not believe in the life to come are [bound to lose themselves] in suffering and in a profound aberration. 8 Do they not then consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We please We will make them disappear in the land or bring down upon them a portion from the heaven; most surely there is a sign in this for every servant turning (to Allah). 9
