Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 "No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'." 23 ۞ Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error." 24 Say thou: ye will not be questioned about that which we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about that which ye work. 25 Say, "Our Lord will gather us all together and issue the true Judgment about our differences. He is the Best Judge and All-knowing." 26 Say, "Show me those whom you have related to God as His partner. He is too Exalted to have any partners. He is the Majestic and All-wise God." 27 We have sent thee not, except to mankind entire, good tidings to bear, and warning; but most men do not know it. 28 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 29 Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it]." 30
