Hizb 44
< random >
Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant. 22 "No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'." 23 ۞ Ask them, "Who provides sustenance for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "It is God"; either you or we are rightly guided or in manifest error." 24 Say: You will not be questioned as to what we are guilty of, nor shall we be questioned as to what you do. 25 Say: Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing. 26 Say, “(Dare you) Show me those whom you have matched with Him never! Rather only He is Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise.” 27 We have sent thee not, except to mankind entire, good tidings to bear, and warning; but most men do not know it. 28 They say, "When will the Day of Judgment be if what you say is true?" 29 Say: "There has been appointed for you a Day, which you can neither delay nor advance by a single moment." 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
