۞ Say: "I counsel you one thing only: Be [ever conscious of] standing before God, whether you are in the company of others or alone; and then bethink yourselves [that] there is no madness in [this prophet,] your fellow-man: he is only a warner to you of suffering severe to come." 46 Say: "No reward have I ever asked of you [out of anything] that is yours: my reward rests with none but God, and He is witness unto everything!" 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]." 49 Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near." 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place? 52 For they had disbelieved in it before; and they hurl allegations without seeing, from far away. 53 A barrier shall be raised between them and what they desired, as was done with their partisans before. They too were filled with disquieting doubt. 54
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Sheba (Saba). Sent down in Mecca after Luqmaan (Luqmaan) before The Throngs (Al-Zumer)
