۞ Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom. 46 Say, “Whatever fee I might have asked from you upon this, is yours; my reward is only upon Allah; and He is Witness over all things.” 47 Say: "My Lord casts the truth: He is the knower of things unknown." 48 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]." 49 Say thou: if ever I go astray, I shall stray only against myself, and if I remain guided it is because of that which my Lord hath revealed unto me. Verily He is Hearing, Nigh. 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 and then they will say, "We have faith in the Quran." How can they have any faith when they are far away from this world. 52 seeing that aforetime they had been bent on denying the truth, and had been wont to cast scorn, from far away, on something that was beyond the reach of human perception! 53 A barrier shall be raised between them and what they desired, as was done with their partisans before. They too were filled with disquieting doubt. 54
