۞ Say: "I urge upon you only one thing: Stand up for God two by two or one by one, and think and reflect!" There is no madness about your companion. He is a warner against the dreadful affliction (that awaits). 46 Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness." 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Proclaim, “The truth has come, and falsehood dare not commence nor return.” 49 Say: "Were I to go astray, I would but go astray [due to my own self, and] to the hurt of myself; but if I am on the right path, it is but by virtue of what my Sustainer reveals unto me: for, verily, He is all-hearing, ever-near!" 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? 52 They disbelieved in it before and indulged in conjectures from far away. 53 And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt. 54
