۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say to them: “My Lord hurls down the Truth (upon me). He knows fully all that lies beyond the range of perception.” 48 Say to them, "The Truth has come and will endure. Falsehood has no power to originate any good, nor to reproduce it." 49 Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near." 50 If thou couldst but see when they will quake with terror; but then there will be no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a position (quite) near. 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And a barrier is set between them and that they desire, as was done with the likes of them aforetime; they were in doubt disquieting. 54
