1/2 Hizb 44
< random >
۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 He could take you away if He pleased and bring a new creation (in your place). 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 so I seized the unbelievers and how terrible was their torment. 26
