۞ People, it is you who are in need of Allah. He is the Rich, the Praised. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 the shadows and the light, 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You are naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
