۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 Nor are (alike) the shade and the sun's heat. 21 And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. 22 You are naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
