۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 the shadows and the light, 20 nor the [cooling] shade and the scorching heat: 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 [but] in the end I took to task all those who were bent on denying the truth: and how awesome was My rejection! 26
