ART THOU NOT aware that God sends down water from the skies, whereby We bring forth fruits of many hues - just as in the mountains there are streaks of white and red of various shades, as well as (others) raven-black, 27 And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving. 28 Surely those who recite the Book of God and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them, secretly and in public, look for a commerce that comes not to naught, 29 That He may pay them their hires in full and increase unto them of His grace; verily, He is Forgiving, Appreciative. 30 That which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth and it confirms what was before it. Allah is Aware and sees His worshipers. 31 We have bestowed the Book on those of Our servants whom We have chosen. Some wrong their own souls, some keep half-way [between right and wrong]; some, by God's leave, excel others in good deeds. This is a great bounty of God: 32 They will enter the gardens of Eden wherein they will be decked with bracelets of gold, pearls, and silk garments. 33 They will say, "Praise be to God who has taken away all sorrow from us. Our Lord is forgiving and appreciative. 34 "Who has, out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: no toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein." 35 But those who reject (Allah) - for them will be the Fire of Hell: No term shall be determined for them, so they should die, nor shall its Penalty be lightened for them. Thus do We reward every ungrateful one! 36 They will cry out in Hell and say: “Our Lord, let us out so that we may act righteously, different from what we did before.” (They will be told): “Did we not grant you an age long enough for anyone to take heed if he had wanted to take heed? Besides, there came a warner to you. So have a taste of the torment now. None may come to the help of the wrong-doers.” 37
