Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a straight path, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
