Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
O THOU human being! 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a straight path, 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
