Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
