Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a straight path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
